My name is Faith, and I was a homeschooler who used your video series for both Algebra I and II. I graduated this June, but for the past year, I had been going to a community college where I took a College Algebra course. Your math more than prepared me for this type of work. I was at the top of my class, and my teacher said that I must have used a “really great curriculum” in high school.

Wayde has improved in his Algebra to the point where he can tutor others. He blows away the public school kids, and those are usually the ones he is tutoring. At one point in time we had a tutoring/homework time going on during youth group at our church. A young lady was having trouble with a problem, and our son looked at it and simply TOLD her the answer. She was furious and even said that he couldn’t be right. Wayde said the girl checked the back of the book and said “How did you do that?”, because he was correct. This skill would not have been possible without your curriculum.

This series has been the best I have ever seen for math tutoring. You are doing a fabulous job and I can’t say enough about how thankful I am to have found this. Math has been our tough subject and I have tried several algebra programs. My daughter now understands the lessons so well that she occasionally commented that she is “bored” with the reviews! Don’t be offended. Bored is wonderful!! All I’ve ever heard about math is how she hates it and how hard it is. I am thrilled that she can understand enough to be bored occasionally (and this is not often). 1 am so pleased and intend to purchase the rest of the course when she finishes the 4 videos we currently have.

After studying Keyboard Enterprises Algebra I and II with Mr. Firebaugh, my son scored high enough on the SAT to be awarded 6 hours of college credit in math, including College Algebra, and a full four year academic scholarship to Angelo State University. Mr Firebaugh’s instruction is thorough and understandable, and requires virtually no parent assistance. As a homeschool veteran of 14 years, Keyboard Enterprises Algebra stands out as one of our most successful investments in curriculum.

Keyboard Enterprises’ Algebra videos made learning fun for me. This is an amazing feat considering that I greatly disliked the subject before I began using these videos. I had been using textbooks before. The videos are not only extremely understandable, but interesting as well. If I had any questions about the lesson all I had to do was call him and ask. When I had completed the series, I came away with wonderful algebra grades and a great understanding of algebra that was very useful in college.

We are now ordering the Algebra II series from your company when we have seen how well our daughter did with Algebra I. This past spring our daughter took the standardized CAT test and scored 16 out of 19 perfect scores. Three of those perfect scores were in math. Your format is easy to understand and the instructor is clear and easy to follow. Thanks for all your hard work.

Finally a Pre-Algebra and Algebra video series designed to be done at the pace of the student. If you are looking for a good, visual math curriculum that is simple, thorough and accompanied by easy to use workbooks, tests and answer keys, then the Keyboard Enterprises math series is for you. I recommend this often to families looking for real help in mathematics.

When I first began learning algebra, I hated it. I would think out reasons why it is an unnecessary subject, saying “What do I care about what ‘x’ is?” For a year I struggled, loathing it, but doing it as my duty to my parents. I didn’t understand the concepts and would get most of the problems finished, only to find that I had misunderstood a new rule (or even an old one) and after all my work, I had to admit failure again. Then my mom ordered a new way to learn algebra – on video! We (my brother and I) had never had a video course before. Keyboard Enterprises was just what I needed. Mr. Firebaugh is a great teacher. He explains each new level clearly and we can rewind to catch something we missed. Bryan and I did the course together. We worked out the lessons with Mr. Firebaugh and wrote out everything. We enjoyed finding the answer to his sample problem before he’d finished working it out! And as we listened, humor would come out in the lesson. Soon I not only had stopped despising algebra, but it became one of my favorite academic subjects! Bryan and I are enthusiastic about doing Algebra II this year and are deeply grateful to Mr. Leonard Firebaugh for his clear, enjoyable instruction. I would endorse this course to anyone who has problems with understanding algebra!

Thank you so much for all of the time and effort you have diligently put into your Keyboard Algebra I & II programs. Before we had heard of Keyboard Algebra we had tried other curriculums but were unsuccessful with them. Then we found out about Keyboard Algebra and began using it in our home. This program offers such an organized approach to algebra and has made a wonderful difference in my daughter’s understanding of algebra. The way Mr. Firebaugh teaches the lessons, his pointing out to the students the crucial aspects they must master, the reminders he gives the students, etc… make this program stand out and above all other programs to me. I cannot really express in words how exciting it is to see my daughter excel so wonderfully (maintaining an A average from the beginning of Algebra I all the way till now – the middle of Algebra II). Mr Firebaugh, we could not have done this without your wonderful-incredible teaching of algebra. Thank you again and we’re looking forward to Geometry.

Mr. Firebaugh’s algebra course was the answer to our prayers. We have a wonderful 13 year old son, whom I home school. He is ambitious and mature about learning. We were using a reputable correspondence school for algebra. The course had no videotape, they only provided a manual. Our son is used to working successfully with correspondence manuals yet he would struggle for hours doing drills and memorizing rules. I could see a sunny, bright student becoming more frustrated by the day. I have no algebra experience so the manual was Greek to me. My husband would come home after a long day of bricklaying. He would work for hours on the algebra and run into the same problems. My son would then try harder during the day hoping his dad could relax. None of us are quitters so I put an advertisement in the paper for a tutor. I got about 80 calls. They called and told me their price, time schedule and location. I could tell the tutor method was out. I then found a math lab at our local community college. We had to wait on a waiting list to have a question answered. My son loves home school but he was willing to sacrifice it so he could have an algebra teacher. This almost broke our hearts. Then I remembered Mr. Firebaugh’s advertisement. I was pleasantly surprised when Mr. Firebaugh answered the phone himself. I could tell he was a dedicated teacher. He told me that if the program didn’t work we could return it in 30 days. This was wonderful news – l was out of money from the other courses. The program arrived promptly. My son and his father turned into algebra sponges. His father didn’t want to be in a situation where he could not help and he wanted to be sure our son was learning. Sometimes they both watch a lesson over and over again. You don’t mind working hard when you know you will see progress. We were relieved that we did not have to compromise our son’s home school education, and we feel confident that we are providing the best education.
